REUNION 2011

A suggestion has been made that we consider having another Peace Corps reunion 2011 in Washington DC during the Peace Corps 50th Anniversary Celebration on the National Mall.
The event dates are Sept. 22-25, 2011

In addition to our own reunion here are some of the events that may be of interest.

September 22-25

Through performances, interactive demonstrations, narrative presentations, and family programs, people from around the world and throughout the U.S. will be able to celebrate the history and culture of the Peace Corps during this four-day event in the heart of our nation’s capitol. This free event will provide an opportunity to share the Peace Corps experience with the general public and our extended Peace Corps family.

September 23

"Volunteer Reunion on the Mall." Volunteer groups will have a reunion area set aside where they can share stories and reconnect with each other, as well as with their counterparts and post staff.

September 24

"Diplomatic Reception at the Library of Congress." A gathering to honor the countries that have hosted Peace Corps Volunteers since 1961.
